VIBES ON TEN!!! FOOD ON TEN!!! DRINKS ON TEN!!! DJ ON TEN!!! Yall are amazing & this is coming from a DC head who thought I’d NEVER find a place like this in Norfolk, of all places! The menus have been curated with love, the aesthetic is “Where You Wanna Be” and the food is exactly what you need to coat your stomach for the drinks… yummy & fulfilling! I will def be back! I visited this bar last weekend from DC and I was blown away. Immaculate vibes. Great drink selection. Amazing and friendly bartender and staff and the DJ saved my life. A gem in the new 757.
I'm new to VA and was drawn to this place from the internet. Everyone was very kind and made me feel welcome. Some softer, more relaxed posture chairs upstairs could enhance the lounge feel.
I love only you! As an aspiring DJ the music is always a vibe and the atmosphere just feels free and I love that. The food and the music are 100/10! I love coming here on the weekends to dance my cares away and have nice drink.
never have I ever been disappointed in the eclecticism, the aesthetics, the unity, the vibe and the wavelength that is Only You. I have an autistic adult son, who literally jumps out of our vehicle and heads straight upstairs to the third floor where he is included-he is free, and blends in with other young people, in a judge free artistic breeze of funk and jazz. Mind you if you can't appreciate and reminisce about sitting at the top of your parents stairs, while they spun vinyl records, and you're over 40.. please stay home. And please don't bother the DJs. They won't disappoint. The denim-industrial surrounding area only adds to the wood panel-nostalgia. This is a spinal, other worldly experience of the senses. Do not drive by, drop in.
Took my gf here for her bday. It was our first time going it was pretty nice! I recommend getting there a little early if you want to go to the top lounge because by 9pm, 3rd floor will be packed and there will be a line to get there. The only “problem” we had was the food took a minute getting to us; waited about 45mins BUT it was really good. We ordered the smash burgers, which are huge by the way and the espresso martinis. Atmosphere was cool. The music was on point from the time we got there till we left about 930/10.
This spot quickly became one of my favorite places hangout in the area. Only you has an atmosphere that is unmatched by any other spot in the area. This isn’t your regular bar/lounge that plays the same 4-5 radio songs you hear everywhere, the DJs here take pride in changing things up and controlling the atmosphere that matches the aesthetically pleasing decor inside as well
This new and refreshing spot has the potential to be it! Tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Veil, Only You offers its very own atmosphere and ambiance. You’ll quickly realize you’re not just at a brewery anymore with the low key feel and intimate vibes found here. With an exceptional cocktail menu (I tried 6 different cocktails) the Veil has much much more to offer. Excellent service that brings a very friendly atmosphere to the restaurant. Huge shoutout to Jay and Amanda for the extra special service. For what they offer…exceeding expectations to say the least. With fresh and complex flavor profiles that you expect to find at a renowned upscale restaurant, Only You is seeking to make a name for its self. I found my new hidden spot, Only You can too!
Tried this place out for date night on a Friday night. We arrived around 7:15 and stayed until 9ish. The food was really tasty! I got the smash burger with bacon and my girl got the garlic pizza (I forget the actual name but it was GOOD). The burgers themselves were good, there was a proper amount of cheese and bacon. The pizza crust was good, the sauce was really good, and the garlic confit was also good. The drinks were also really good. The Miller high life was cold and wet (all you can ask for). The cocktails were also pretty tasty. I forget the names of the cocktails that we tried but one was a lemon one and that was pretty good. The atmosphere was really nice. When we first arrived it was not too busy but things definitely picked up as the night went on. The music, before the Dj got there, was good. The ‘house music’ style of music the Dj was playing was really a vibe. All staff members that we spoke with were very kind and easygoing. Will be returning.
Love this place. Come for sunset dinner and stay for the good vibes. Bring friends or come alone - it don’t matter. Just come over!
